KSWS is looking for some great writers and budding journalists that would like to
volunteer their time and resources to being a part of the Editorial team.
As part of this team you will, amongst other things, cover local and national events
covering Sikh religion and culture and write opinion-based articles for the Sampark,

If you’ve been looking for an outlet, or been dying to find readers looking for
substance, or just have an urge to put pen to paper (or in this case fingers to
the keyboard) this just might be for you.
Sound like something you would love to do?
Website Development Team
Fancy working with computers? Love Graphic Designing? Obsessed with
databases? KSWS needs technical gurus to help keep the website up-to-date and looking
great.
Volunteering your skills will allow you to be a part of a great team of individuals
dedicated to using technology to change the world.
This will involve maintaining the website (designed and hosted by AJSoftek), organizing
the layout of the website, designing banners and newsletter layouts, designing microsites,
creating forms, collecting user data, using Google analytics, managing the online
advertising campaign, maintaining the database, managing the newsletter delivery
system, linking the website with new technologies and incorporating additional functionality,
amongst other things
Outreach Team
At the Outreach Department we get out there into the world and personally reach
out to people.
We will be hosting events to raise awareness on KSWS (Nishkam Wing) core issues
and get the message across that we have the power to end extreme poverty once and
for all.
Our existing Outreach Team is now working on many exciting programs in association
with Nishkam Canada so that the Sikligar families of Karnataka can get all the benefit
from this team.
We are the faces of KSWS. We’re out there reaching out to show people that we have
the capacity to eradicate extreme poverty and that we only need the will to do it.
Campaigning to end poverty (and everything that goes with it like hunger, HIV etc.)
is an incredible challenge but our generation has the capacity to tackle it.
Would you like to take on this challenge personally by joining the KSWS Nishkam
Wing Outreach Team?
